Xinyu Xiao

I am a first-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Technology at Fudan University , co-advised by Prof. Tao Xie and Prof. Wei Yang. I received my B.Eng. in Cyberspace Security from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2026, where I was advised by Prof. Yunhe Zhang. I also had the privilege of working with Prof. Chenxi Wang.

My research focuses on agentic AI software stacks for emerging accelerators, with a particular interest in AI compilation, training and inference acceleration, kernel optimization, and agentic systems.

I am from Wuhan and an alumnus of the No. 1 Middle School Affiliated to Central China Normal University . During my undergraduate years, I captained the football team of HUST’s School of Cyber Science and Engineering , and I support Liverpool FC and Wuhan Three Towns . I also enjoy other sports, music, reading, and travel, and have a rabbit named Coke (as in Coca-Cola).

Cross-Abstraction-Level Agentic Kernel Programming System

First author · June 2026–present

An LLM-driven system for optimizing kernels across TileLang, HIP C++, and AscendC on AMD GPUs and Ascend NPUs. Runtime feedback guides performance diagnosis, abstraction-level selection, and candidate rollback.

Three-layer inference system architecture

Design and Implementation of a Deep Neural Network Inference System Based on High-Performance TileLang Operators

Undergraduate thesis, HUST · Dec. 2025–May 2026 · Advisor: Prof. Yunhe Zhang

Developed a TileLang operator library for Qwen3-32B and an end-to-end prototype supporting concurrent inference for multiple agents.
